The rivet supply module is simply equipped with the appropriate number of conveying pots, and the docking with the corresponding number of feed- locks providing the required rivet lengths in parallel. On the tongs installation plate, the required rivet is blown into the placement head by the rivet injection unit. It was no problem at all to comply with the customer’s wish to use several rivet lengths with just one tongs. For the solid punch rivet of diameter 5 mm, it has even been possible to find a solution with 7 different rivet lengths and only one tongs and one placement head. In addition, TOX PRESSOTECHNIK also supplied the drive controls and installed the rivet controls so that the customer received a complete system ready for operation without any further adaptation work to do.
